Description
The Rottweiler was brought along for the invasion of Europe, by the Romans. This medium to large size dog, ranging in size from 22 to 27 inches tall at the withers, is compact and muscular and has a short docked tail. The only acceptable color is a solid black body with rust or mahogany markings or points. In the early 1900s the Germans bred Rottweilers for herding and as guard dogs. As the need for this service diminished, the Rottie almost became extinct. The breed has not changed much since being brought back into popularity for everything including law enforcement, carting, search and rescue and therapy work. The AKC recognized the breed in 1930 in the Working Group.
Our Pen Sets are perfect for anyones desk. Each pen set comes with a walnut finished base, measuring 4.25" x 6" x .5" thick, a gold tone pen holder, a gold tone (blue) ink pen, and a 4"-5" figurine.
Pen sets are shipped without the figurine glued in place. This eliminates breakage and allows the figurine to be positioned at the angle you prefer. If you wish to glue, any 2 part epoxy or silicon glue (Goop) works fine.
Perfect for a gift or to display at your store, these are available in any of our standard figurines including dogs, cats, or animals!
