Description
The Rat Terrier is an American dog breed designed as a rat hunter on farms. This breed has two size divisions; Miniature, which is at least 10 inches at the withers, not to exceed 13 inches, and the Standard which is over 13 inches tall at the withers. Typically the weight range is 10 to 25 pounds. They have a short single coat and their tails can be docked or natural. Ears can be erect or dropped and both can be seen in a single littler. This breed is generally a hardy and long-lived breed that often lives to be 12-18 years old. Shirley MacLaine owned a Rat Terrier, as did best-selling author John Sanford. Bram Stokers classic novel DRACULA features the Rat Terrier taking on the vampire after he turns into a plague of rats. The AKC recognized the Rat Terrier in 2010.
Our Pen Sets are perfect for anyones desk. Each pen set comes with a walnut finished base, measuring 4.25" x 6" x .5" thick, a gold tone pen holder, a gold tone (blue) ink pen, and a 4"-5" figurine.
Pen sets are shipped without the figurine glued in place. This eliminates breakage and allows the figurine to be positioned at the angle you prefer. If you wish to glue, any 2 part epoxy or silicon glue (Goop) works fine.
Perfect for a gift or to display at your store, these are available in any of our standard figurines including dogs, cats, or animals!
